The Trust

People behind
the power

The Unite Sports Charitable Trust is a community-driven not-for-profit giving Christchurch athletes the opportunity to take their game to the next level.

01

Mike Hamel

Unite Founder

Mike started coaching cricket in the early nineties, working with primary school teams and Canterbury Representatives at under-14 and under-15 level. Decades on, he is an assistant coach for the Old Boys Collegians senior squad and coaches table tennis at Christ's College.

Through the Unite Sports Charitable Trust, Mike is opening a training centre focused on power, strength, speed and agility — using cutting-edge techniques to develop high-performance athletes and prevent the injuries that sideline them.
